
ABOUT
Living Waters Center of Hope is a tax-exempt nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization staffed and primarily volunteer run. We serve all races, creeds, and faiths; the rich and poor; those living in homes, apartments, shelters and those without any.
The Community Center hours are:
Tues, Thurs, Fri 9 AM - 11 AM and
the 2nd & 3rd Saturday's 9 AM - 1 PM
Timeline

1993: Began to pray for people and their needs in the community.

1998: Prayer walked, volunteered at shelter, served from trunk of car.

2003: Opened a storefront space across the street from the local shelter.

2006: Knocked down walls to double our existing storefront space.

2004: Living Waters Ministry of Hope was granted a non-profit 501(c)(3) status.

2006: Raised $8,800.00 to open supportive living program and housed 13 men.

2007: Provided job training for individuals ready to move out of the shelter

2008: Moved to a 1,600 s.f. space to accommodate increased visits
-
2011: Moved to current location in the heart of downtown Lowell, 4x our previous space.

2012: Saw tremendous growth with over 10,064 guest visits

2013: Averaged 75 to 80 guest visits a day

2014: Moved to the French House and our current location
Living Waters Center of Hope is a CENTER where people from area churches and the community come together and serve the poor. It’s a CENTER for Gods people to utilize in sharing their time, skills, gifts, passions, expertise and resources with the community. Living Waters Center of Hope anyone in need; all races, creeds and faiths; the rich and poor; those living in homes, apartments, shelters and those without any.
